So I don't really think this place deserves 5 stars, but it certainly doesn't deserve only 1 or 2. The taste is about a 3-4. The price relative to the location is a 4-5. I can't speak for the take out, but the sit in service is very timely. I rate it a 5 for timeliness. It's a quiet place to sit and think or read or write a paper for a college class. Don't knock it until you try it.

Overpriced as expected for an airport. A tea and their (what they claim) Philly cheesesteak was 20$
2 ketchup packets with whole meal, no Tabasco sauce, meat in sandwich tasted rotten...horrible.
Steer clear unless you like to eat shit.
Your welcome! -

Ordered the "salmon chowder" and a reindeer dog. "Salmon chowder" was watered down and SOUR. Worst soup I've ever tasted. The reindeer dog came with "sautéed onions and peppers", but it was barely any on my dog and on half of it only. Not worth the $10+

This little Alaskan eatery is located next to the Ravn Air check in at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. I fly with Ravn about 5 to 6 times a year out of Anchorage, so I've frequented this little restaurant. It opens at 8:00, but I really do wish it opened earlier- as I typically check-in around 7:30 for most of my flights and they're the only real restaurant on the 'in Alaska flights' side of the airport. With that being said, out of all of the places to eat in the Ted Stevens International Airport, Grizzly's is my first choice.
This restaurant has breakfast and lunch/dinner options. You order at the front counter, similar to the way you would at a fast food restaurant. You can then take a seat in their restaurant and they will deliver the food to your table within 5 to 10 minutes. You can order the food to-go, where it comes in a portable container, or to eat-in, where it's delivered on a plate. Their lunch options include things like sandwiches, subs, reindeer dogs. Their breakfast options include breakfast burritos and biscuits and gravy (their biscuits and gravy is my favorite!). The food is good. Semi-fast foodish with a healthy twist (most of the meals here seem pretty fresh, and not frozen).
They also have an array of cold items that changes seasonally. They serve pies, Danishes, salads, sandwiches, and hard-boiled eggs. It can get a bit pricey. They're cooked items are actually fairly affordable, but their cold items and snacks/drinks are ridiculously priced (a bottle of water is $3.50!). Go to the lower floor and grab a drink at the stand near the Ravn baggage claim if you want something cheaper.
This restaurant usually has very happy employees and they tend to be very quick about getting your food out to you. The place is always very clean and there's ample seating. The seating is mostly small tables with 2 chairs at them, so this place isn't necessarily fitting for serving a group. With that being said there's A LOT of seating, so you could sit a large family here, you'd just be spaced out at different tables. They do have a television that tends to stay on the NBC or HGTV stations. There are plenty of outlets, so if you want to get on the airport wifi or charge a device- you can do that here. It's one of the only places I've found in the airport that has both USB and traditional plug-in outlets so you can literally charge pretty much any device.
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but when I'm flying through Ravn I always stop in here for breakfast or lunch. The service is pretty quick, the food is good, and although it's a little pricey- it's still one of my all-time favorite airport eateries. -

I ordered the hot wings. Paid $13 for 8 wings and 4 tiny, wilted strips of celery and carrots.
Server seemed very new and didn't know the menu. I had to repeat myself several times for a basic order. Although I said 'thank you' after I ordered and when she brought my food to my table, she didn't acknowledge me at all...The owner is loud and sounds like a bully...I'll never eat there again...
